Everyone needs to be on the same page for seamless and flawless execution. Redoing your entire sign language MID season doesn’t sound feasible. I could be wrong, but to me seems logical
As for TCU, didn’t they have a whole month to prepare? That’s a lot different than having one week during the season.

I just don't see that, not with the number of groups who are looking over for different signals. Keeping them all straight for multiple players who are rotating in and out each play. Too many moving parts for essentially kids that are mostly idiots anyways.
That is exactly my point. The playbooks aren't just the old nintendo game where you have two running and two pass plays. Now you are talking about getting 50+ kids up to speed on the playbook, and then every week you are going to give them new signals to learn in addition to any play adjustments the staff have?

You don’t have to change the playbooks, and two people sending in different signals … the other teams won’t have enough time to decide the real or the fake signs.
