tReal Official Night Shift v68, because I can and you better love it, Mfers.

Yeah I transferred to another position with the same organization, but I had to put in a certain amount of time before I could leave, per company policy. Plus, she tried to deny me the transfer as long as she could.
Ah, yes, how dare you not give her your wife's number in case she needs to contact you about work when ... you aren't working. It sounds as though if that wasn't enough reason to leave her department, she would have given you another one!

I refused to give my manager my cell number, because these fucks think they can call you 24/7/365 with business shit. Fuck off. You mofos get 8a-4p M-F, PERIOD.
I was working 80 hours a week as VP for a startup and told the Pres and CEO that if I didn’t get any time off, I was going to have to cut my own hair. They laughed. I buzzed off my hair with my mustache trimmer that night, and when they saw me the next day, they told me to take a long weekend. So, I went to the coast and joined a king mackerel tournament. We got into a school of kings just offshore. I had one on the line when the first mate walked up with my cellphone and said, “I think you gotta take this.” I had to hand off the rod (so, that fish didn’t count towards my total), and it was the Pres & CEO with some inane shit that they could have handled. Yeah, don’t give your personal # to anyone at work.

So I need to get my brakes done. How do I tell a mechanic this without getting bent over about it? What’s the going rate and what is this “rotors” business? And front/rear? Am I supposed to do all four wheels at the same time?

You may not need all 4. If you just need new pads on one axle, that's not so bad. Maybe 150-200$.

If you need your rotors turned, that can run you anywhere from 4-800 smackers. I forget the make of your car but I'm pretty sure it's foreign and it might take more expensive pads.

Depending on what your mech charges for labor, you could be topping out at 1,000-1,200

I was afraid of that. I think I’m gonna try to take it to the dealership to get a quote then shop around from there. I’ve been hearing a weird sound coming somewhere from the back…it sounds rotational, if that makes any sense. My guts say it’s brake related.

Or residual guts whacking against the wheel well from something that didn’t move fast enough :noidea:

Go ahead, but be prepared for instant death. If you survive, then go ahead and shop around.

Never fails, whenever a team has a good season, there's that one crappy team that they can't beat. Usually for the Mets, it's Miami
Braves do that too, either Miami or Washington

I'd avoid the dealership unless its a brand new car. Use the google to find a highly rated AAA certified auto repair place near you. Could run about $500. Get your credit cards back from the bar to pay for it, or trade them your Blackstone....

Moved on for the semis of the company bean bag tournament.

Celebrated by buying myself a chicken nuggies lunch.

I was just going to use them for a free diagnostic and the absolute ceiling of what I think it could possibly cost.

It’s cheaper to just not stop and let the cars around you stop you….
