Well turns out the husband comes up positive for COVID, so now everyone who attended needs to quarantine and are getting tests.

That's the danger, people getting pulled into a false sense of security because they are with friends and family. That's what led to our quarantine a couple months ago.

That same part of the family wants to get together for Thanksgiving. We noped that. Suggested we all do something together on Zoom, maybe.

I did a weekend away with my circle this weekend and am planning on laying low this week to make sure I don't bring anything back with me...might just hide out until Thanksgiving actually since I need to go to NJ for that.

If I was doing Thanksgiving with my family, we'd be good... My stepdad apparently got it about a week or two ago. He gave it to my brother (work together), and my brother gave it to his gf. I'm assuming my mom got it, but was asymptomatic.

Finally got the dog and cat for a grooming and bath on Saturday. I like this pull up truck that comes and grooms them. Expensive, but worth it for the wife. She gets very clingy when I go out and she's all alone.

just curious, but what kind of grooming does a cat need that they can't provide themselves? my cat can come in bloody and muddy and take care of it herself.
