I was barely passable, I should not have been driving

The law to change from .1 to .08 has passed, but was not yet in place. I blew .09 and police officer told me based on what I told him, it was only matter of time before I was over .1 and probably was already over just in time from taking breathalyzer, talking, and what not. The drunk part of me was lets do it again, but sober part of my brain took over and just said shut up stupid, you're getting off.


I left my car in the dennys parking lot and picked it up next day.

Lucky you. I got mine out the impound lot.

Lessons were learned. Although, to be honest, not as quickly as they should have been. Ah, #LifestylesOfA20Something.

Yeah, I was pretty lucky from my youth

1st and foremost, never killed anyone.
2nd never got in legal in trouble

Definitely not proud of some of dumb shit I did

I've never been arrested. I have 2 underage consumption's

I've been handcuffed x2 by police, but was always let got shortly after.

I haven't really listened to much of Darnielle since Beat the Champ. Never checked out the Dungeons and Dragons album he did. Used to listen to him a lot a while ago.
 
I'm pissed about both underage consumption, not because I didn't deserve them, but because of circumstances.

1st-I was at an outdoor concert, we booked late and couldn't stay at closest campground which is generally free for all, we were at a nearby state park (I think). Lots of partying, drinking, etc. At one point we were going campsite to campsite, getting beer, one of us had acoustic guitar, etc. Did we get busted then? No, we got busted at the very end of the night when were buying quiet and sitting by fire. The only one of us that didn't get a underage was the girl who was probably drunkest of us, passed out in her sleeping bag, and cops didnt see her when they shined light in tent (or most of our booze, they found some of it)


2nd-At a house party in college. Me and my friend were ready to go, we were with guy across the hall, Todd, who was 21 and living in the college dorms. Anyways, Todd didn't want to leave, so we stayed. Cops came. Todd was 21, so they let him go. Me and my friend, we got minors. And what really pissed me off, we only had 2-3 busch lights, so we didn't even get our moneys worth. We walked out of the party, got into our car, and drove home. (I think I blew .04....still not legal to drive for us since we were under 21, but)
