I know. Based on Kirk's post last night on Buckeyescoop.com, RGL should be ready to open his wallet. Someone told him, "You better be right, or you are going to be eating lots of crow on this one."

According to Kirk, it will all be over by Tuesday one way or another.

yesterday, osu accounts were calling out Kirk for not knowing anything.. I didn't see it in time.. after it was brought up, the tweet was deleted. But again, there's been no news which aligns with RGL and the squid account that it's happening.

And that is the problem. The pursuit of Meyer was the worst kept secret. Herman was begging for a meaningless vote of confidence and the AD was silent, which only fueled the rumors further. Now Texas has a lame duck coach, who is going to get laughed off the couch in a recruits living room. Assuming this is over and not just another turn and Herman comes back, the administration at Texas royally fucked this up.

That's actually only 'part' of the story.
My sources in Awe-stin told me that Urbs wants to be remembered as an overachiever, that he views tejas as a 'step down' job from Notre Dame, USC, Bama, Ohio St, and Oklahoma, and that he didn't want to be associated with the underachievement that is tejas for any kind of money.

I personally think Steve Sarkisian would be a good sloppy drunk fit there for 4 or 5 years.
