Game week Iowa vs Gonzaga

Haven't looked forward to a regular season cbb game as much as this for quite some time. Obviously Iowa being involved is part of it but even if I weren't an Iowa fan this game would be very exciting

I could legit see this being played in the 105+ points for both teams range

You guys looking forward to it ?

It's been hard to get into this season. They've cancelled so many big games that it's killed any momentum. At least Villanova has played its games.

I hope they get the game in but I don't even know what day it is. In most years, I'd know exactly when it was.

Yeah I hear ya. Luckily my sports seasons haven't been impacted at all. Iowa played all their football games as scheduled and we haven't missed a bball game yet either. Game is Saturday noon est btw
 
Hell yes. Give me a score from LMU back in the days. I wanna see 125-120. Both teams will be able to get whatever they want. Timme is great offensively, but in the games I've seen he's not great defensively. Garza is going to have a field day with him. I've only seen a little bit of Iowa this season, so I'm not sure what they have coming off the bench but Nembhard is a great asset for Gonzaga to have come in. Basically won them the wvu game. I think Gonzaga is more athletic at guard so we'll see if that affects Bohannon, Fredrick, McCaffrey(s) etc.

I can see Gonzaga going with Nembhard to start, along with Suggs and Ayiai. Kispert at the 4, Timme at the 5.
 
I think I would take the over at anything set at 190 or less.
 
I'll be interested to see how much zone Iowa plays. The zone has been really good this year with all our length. Zags definitely have an edge with guard quickness so the zone could negate some of that. Drawback is rebounding out of it

Listened to a Zags podcast today and man those are some confident motherfuckers there in Spokane. Its going to be more of a pleasure to beat that ass than I thought.
 
Apparently the Zags have been locked out of practice during their time off as pretty much the whole team was quarantining . Just started back to practice yesterday. Normally I'd think that helps Iowa but I'm not sure it really matters with how in sync Gonzaga looked from game 1. It did catch me off guard though as I thought they'd been practicing this whole time

Just a little off all game. Too many missed fts ( 10 ) and im shocked we are getting killed on the boards . If those 2 things were at a normal rate we'd be in a nail biter. Disappointing but lots of season left

Nobody shot the 3 today . In a way its reassuring to me. We missed 11 fts, shot for shit , they shot it lights out and its still relatively close.
