Yes I agree. They have a lot discipline. They are not sloppy with possession either.

I still think Klopp is the best coach last year. They rampaged through the EPL and the only reason they got knocked out of the UCL against Atletico was the buffoon back up goalie in the 2nd leg who had to play because Alisson injured and gave up the howlers in extra time. Think back up goalie and howlers a few years ago Ulreich versus Real Madrid his costly howler that ended Bayern UCL season.

He got confused if he could touch it with his hands. Goaltending 101 he failed at there at the worst possible time. Can you imagine Ulreich trying to goaltend this years team? Bayern would be battling for relegation.

No doubt. With a Swiss cheese defense like they have now, Ulreich would be toast. To his credit, he was pretty good for a stretch while Neuer was out.

Speaking of keepers, I kind of feel bad for Nübel. He needs minutes, but no sane coach would sit Neuer with his form now for even a game or two more of Nübel. It was nice to see him againt Atletico, but I was surprised he even got that start. I thought I read somewhere that Nübel's contract guaranteed him more starts than he's getting now.

Well, I think they signed Nubel because Neuer age and recent injury history, but you know Neuer he so competitive. He crushed the competition at Bayern and Germany. Poor Ter Stegen. Nubel should have stayed at Schalke or moved to a team he could play. Bayern should have loaned him imo. Wasting away on the bench. I watched him the first time in Germany U21 and I really liked him and thought he is the future of Germany goaltending. Few times I have seen him with Bayern he is no sweeper keeper and his distribution not great. That will come with time and playing time. Playing time, not getting that at Bayern. One of the strangest signings. Almost as if they expected Neuer to get hurt again.

Gladbach disappoint again. Falling down a bit. Gladbach look so good in UCL but stumbling in Bundesliga. About time Hoffenheim put in a decent after the hot start. Leipzig not good to tie Cologne. Bad loss of 2 points there.

I’m pretty disappointed with Gladbach’s domestic play. They have a good team and can’t win. Thuram is looking at a fat suspension after spitting in Posch’s face.
 
Same ole again today. Giveaways to no one, can't get out of their end, poor touches, bad positioning.

A Galazo. Tah doing his German National Team impression on defense there on the Lewandowski goal. I wonder if Hansi was hoping for a first half to survive and second half you bring in Kimmich for Alaba and maybe Pavard for Boateng and move Sule to center. Bayern seem panicking for most of the first half with the Leverkusen pressure. Leverkusen handled the pressure much better, crisper passes and touches. Until the last 10 minutes real sloppy on passing and touches then Leverkusen went into sloppy mode.

Yeah losing composure. Actually even in UCL they were not that great in last few games either. The lucked out with the Inter tie against Schaktar in final game.
 
I have to say after a 1/2 season I really like ESPN+ and getting all the games.
