Lars Stindl and Florian Neuhaus at Gladbach. Neuhaus on Bayern radar now. Wolfsburg won't hold on. I looked at Bayern schedule. A run of easier games coming in January right when Kimmich back. Davies back today. Even though league tight now that may be when they make their run. Leipzig is the team I worry about most. Nagelsmann used Forsberg as a false 9 and no striker and gave Bayern fits. ESPN just posted a list of top players at their positions. Nagelsmann I think was #4 at coaching. I agree but they had Pavard #3 at right back. No way.

I’m a big fan of Neuhaus.
 
Neuhaus will be a Germany regular too. German midfield when healthy lethal: Kimmich, Havertz, Goretzka, Neuhaus just to start.
 
Wolfsburg keeps rolling. Weghorst is pretty good. I enjoy their style of play.

Wolfsburg and Leverkusen have yet to lose this season. Next two opponents for Bayern.
 
Dortmund pitiful today. You may be right about Wolfsburg moving into Top 4 if Dortmund keeps laying eggs like this. 5-1 that is a bad loss!!!

Bayern 5 straight Bundesliga games have fallen behind. When did Kimmich get hurt?
Midfield and defense horrible again. Completely tentative. What is with this tentativeness? No clue how to break down a defenses for a bit now?
Bayern terrible in the air. Lose all the ariel chances. Season long issue too.
Gnabry 3 goals in 1st game 1 since. Him and Sane have disappointed much in first half of season. Gnabry touch needs a lot of work right now.
Davies needs to be subbed for Luca. Why so many passes to no one or out of bounds. Lazy possession and lazy effort.
Worst 1st half of year I think.
Should be 3-0 and that is without Kruse.

Need to really get their act together. Unacceptable with this talent in some of these recent games.

Season long issue on the outside. Also, like pylons out there. Union went right around them with ease centrally too. Alaba is losing a lot of money the way he is playing this year.

If not for Neuer where would this team be?

I knew that was coming. Problem with Dortmund all their best talent, Haaland, Sancho, Reyna, Bellingham is too young. And the rest is average aging garbage like Can, Hummels, even Reus now. You rely on real young talent it generally is inconsistent. Xmas break can't come fast enough for this team.

Was wondering the same thing. He looks lost. Perhaps he has lingering fatigue following it. That happened to Yoan Moncada on the White Sox this past season. Just wasn’t the same following COVID. Said he was always tired and had muscle issues.

Bayern badly need a midfielder like Thiago and Kimmich in Transfer window. You look at Goretzka and Tolissso, they are the same player. Can't play together. Roca too young but promising (see Dormund lol). Goretza at his scoring best when paired with Kimmich and Thiago and both gone. Hansi 4-1-4-1 not good either. Issues related to roster. Covid has hurt brought down some of the big teams because they can't afford the deep rosters and have to go younger so leagues more competitive now.

You wonder if he is one of those "long haulers" with Covid. Get a mild case but weird long term affects. He touch is God awful. The shank off his knee yesterday was shameful and most his shots and crosses bad too. I would actually Sane and Coman and if Sane doesn't get his act together Coman and Musiala. Lucky Coman is in real form this year. Another one saving their asses in games.
