Best game ever?

Pro tip - If you want to gain levels fast, beat the shit out of that horse. It can't die and you gain XP by clobbering it.

This didn’t work but I have fought 10 dragons over the past 2 levels after fighting 0 from levels 1-42. Finding a bunch of new places too. Must have triggered something finishing a quest.

Unless they did a patch, beating the shit out of that horse should have leveled your combat skills.

He died. I thought you were just being a dick, luckily I saved it.

You must not have the horse I was thinking of. Does it have red eyes?

Ya it’s the demon horse from the Dark Brotherhood. Red eyes, black etc.

I was surprised too because it can fight anybody and barely get hurt.

Yep that's the one. I just looked it up and I was wrong. It can die, but can take way more damage than other horses.

You just have to be sure to let it's health bar regenerate.

Sorry about that, I wasn't trying to be a dick.

But the game that over the past few years that has captured me like none other and still has me completely addicted to it is Players Unknown Battlegrounds, otherwise known as PUBG.

I've given PUBG a second chance recently and played probably like 15 rounds. I have a total of 0 kills and 1 assist in those 15 games. I just can't grasp this game at all. It's way too fucking big and there's way too much fucking camping. I don't even know if it's best played in third person view or first person view? ANY fucking tips?

We'd make a great team. I think I killed somebody once too.

- Loot and get all armed and armored up.
- Run around and do absolutely nothing other than run around, seeing no one for 15 minutes.
*circle gets smaller*
- Run to where the new circle is.
- Immediately get sniped by people who have been camping inside the circle for 15 minutes by a rock/tree.
- Proceed back to main menu. Repeat.

I've been on the winning team numerous times without accomplishing anything other than getting a lot of armor.

I played 3 rounds of PUBG. First 2 games I was eliminated immediately. But in my 3rd game, I found a gun and killed a guy that didn't have one yet. Then I hid for the rest of the game. I finished second.

I figured that's the best I would every do, and haven't played since.

First person is for sure the way to go.

There will be camping sore sure, especially solo games but I still enjoy those games.

It has a very steep learning curve. My advice would be to play some death match games. They don't last long but give you a very good opportunity to at least get a feel for the guns and learn to control their various recoils.

When you get aiming down then start to try aiming for heads first. Obviously do the most damage to the head. Make sure to stock up on meds. Some of the SMGs (MPK5 and UMP45) I would take over an AR and pair it with a sniper rifle. Bolt action snipers will kill/knock on a single heads hot unless the person is wearing a level 3 helmet. Non bolt actions won't but of course you can hit a few more shots in a shorter period of time with those so all preference.

Whatever guns you use, attachments are essential.

With maps you just have to learn them over time. Starting out I would suggest trying to land somewhere far from the flight path and unless you're trying to get into some immediate shit to pick a spot off the beaten path that isn't part of a big town to give yourself the best chance of safely looting an area. After that proceed with caution entering any building and assume there is someone hiding in one. Unless you're deep in a circle and you want to hide until the end game it's probably better to find some natural cover outside and exist within that. The more buildings you enter later in the game the higher your chances of being taken out by a camper.

It's such a sandbox game of different ways to play it and different ways to win. The more expierence you have with it the better you will become. I love the vehicles. They all handle differently and some of them can be extremely useful.

Here are some cool recent game play videos of me.

An end game in a tank with multiple people. Last team tries to throw a C4 and missed my tank eventually the C4 kills their last living squad member.

The coolest moment flying a plane that I have had in the game so far:

Highlights from an 8 kill solo win I had.

lol.

This sort of scenario is probably the second (and last) time I've come close to getting a kill.

Landed and just started running around. Spotted a guy and ran towards him. He was in the process of picking up a gun and I started fist fighting him, since just loading the gun takes so much fucking time, thinking I would get the upper hand. Three seconds later, out of left field his teammate runs over and punches me in the head. They both proceed to stomp me out in the next 10 seconds.

This game has gotten much better since I played it. I don't recall there being tanks or flying vehicles, nor this DM mode.

The COD Warzone looks really good. more modern

I bought Skyrim 11.11.11 - the day it came out. I still play it regularly. It's obviously by far my favorite game of all time. I don't have a time-spent estimate, but it's positively embarrassing. I've played through it probably a hundred-plus times - all with different character focus variations and themes. I've been that sneaky wood elf who is embarrassingly deadly with a bow. I've been that loud orc annihilating everything in sight with a warhammer. And I've been dang near everything in between - all the way to Jesus Christ: an illusion magic-focused pacifist. I know exactly where all 24 Stones of Barenziah are by heart. You're only supposed to be allowed 1 follower, but I've had a party of 12 followers at once without mods. Let's just say I know a little about the game and I've got some pro tips if you want some.

No matter which way you play the game, you probably are going to want currency. What I recommend doing to establish a healthy income is:
1) Obtain land to build a house. When you reach level 10, the Jarl of Falkreath will summon you to handle some bandits for him. After you take care of that, he'll offer to sell you property for 5000 gold. Buy it. If you don't have 5000 gold yet, sell all the weapons and armor you loot off corpses. There are three purchasable plots of land after completing quests, the other two are initiated in Morthal and Dawnstar.
2) On that plot of land, after you build the initial structure, build a garden and plant Creep Cluster, Mora Tapinella and Scaly Pholiota in it. Those three ingredients can be used to craft a valuable potion to sell. The more of those three ingredients you harvest, the more potions you will be able to make and subsequently sell or trade for other goods. Not only that, but crafting that potion repeatedly levels up your Alchemy skill quickly. If you reinvest perk points into Alchemy proficiency, your potions become more valuable and you level up quickly. It won't take long for you to hit level 100 Alchemy proficiency and have the ability to "Legendary" the Alchemy skill and do it again - which is a fast track to leveling up your character and unlocking more perk points. Additionally, you can build a greenhouse expansion to your house. If you do so, that allows more places to plant those three ingredients which makes the processes go even faster.

Along with accruing currency is the ability to sell what you've got. The "Merchant" Speech perk is an important one because it allows you to sell any type of goods to any merchant. You unlock that perk when you hit level 50 in Speech proficiency. I've got a pro tip for fast tracking that, too.

Speak to Sadri at Sadri's Used Wares in Windhelm. Sadri will put you on a simple quest. When you complete that quest, he becomes available as a Speech trainer. Train with him once, then pickpocket the gold you just spent on training. (Before you pickpocket, save the game. If he catches you attempting to steal your money back, just reload the game from that save point.) Keep doing that and you'll level up Speech and Pickpocket quickly. If you have the Thief Stone activated (one of the three Standing Stones near Riverwood), leveling will be even faster.

I've played through it 6 or 7 times. It's been a couple years, though. I want to new one to get released. It will be all I play for months.

You've got young kids, right? Skyrim is the perfect game to play when you've got kids. You can pause the game at any time then pick it back up and chill out to it when things calm back down as a means of relaxation. Skyrim has very literally been a primary stress management tool for me over the past decade.

Multiplayer Halo 3 is the GOAT. Black Ops 2 close second.
