no kidding, my dad also ran an upholstery business, and he made all us kids work for him during the summers

you're singing my song, Brother!

when I turned 12, my dad told me my name was on that building too and I was going to "earn" my keep. made me work for him every summer. I started out making one whole dollar an hour!

while I love my father, I knew pretty quick that wasn't the life for me. My younger brother took to it like a fish to water though and runs the business now.

Just buy Corn Flakes then. *checks off daily corn promotion from list*
It's not the same! We've been over this! First of all, they are bran flakes, not corn and second, if you buy plain bran flakes, you can't replicate the correct dusting of sugar that regular raisin bran leaves behind on the flakes. Trust me, I've studied this topic extensively since I was about 7 years old.

Raisin Bran, Raisin Bran Crunch (considered dessert cereal), and Raisin Nut Bran are the only cereals we allow in the house anymore.
Compressed cardboard with guinea pig turds in it? Hope you use a lot of milk.

I was awful at it. SOME things I could do well, like headliners and carpet. But I was terrible with the sewing machine. I was the guy they sent out in the 100 degree heat to take things apart or put back together. One of my older brothers was better at it than me, and he tried to take over for our dad but he didn't have the best business sense. The rest of us got outta dodge
