Should the SEC wait on the Big Ten?

They've been going down for a week or two at least now, haven't they? Or at the least it's slowing. I guess when some predict we'll see a surge in it would be more accurate.

I guess the point is they know they fucked up/left some members unhappy and are paying lip service now by promising something that might not even happen
Hospitalizations percentage has gone down...at least according to these folks.

Here is what the so called "experts" here in Texas had to say about schools reopening.

"We're all holding our breath": Health experts on school reopenings in Texas

"It is great news of course the hospitalizations have been declining, probably due to better treatment … we've learned a lot about the infection, and the fact that it's younger people being infected and they are less likely to have more severe outcomes and need to be hospitalized. It may also be that people are getting tested earlier so the disease is caught earlier and supportive measures can be given.

However, there is concern that the fact that hospitalizations are going down will be taken as a sign that, ‘Oh we can go back to normal,’ because we're all tired of this. We were tired of it four months ago and now we're really tired of it ..."

Yep.

If I don't get to be happy watching my Broncos, on a Tuesday, in front of 237 fans, in November. Nobody deserves to be happy.

(I also bout a new Michigan jersey for nothin, which sucks.)
The NFL doesn’t play on Tuesday nights, silly.

Is it just NW and MSU from tBIG that are online only?

(Sparty Veterinary students are on campus, that's it.)
Haven't been keep tabs, honestly. Really the only ones off-hand I know are the two I went to (Mizzou/Northwestern) and the local ones.

Let's take a gander at just one SEC team vs the B1G...

Tennessee vs the B1G
Illinois - never played
Indiana - 2-0, Vols have won both meetings
Iowa - 2-1, Vols lost the first meeting and won the next two
Maryland - 5-3, The Terps were not members of the B1G for any of these meetings. The first was a won by the Terps in 1952, the Vols won the next 5, and MD won the following 2. The last meeting was the deflating 2002 Peach Bowl in which the listless Vols fell to the Terps, 30-3.
Michigan - 1-0, their only meeting in 2002, the Vols buried the Angry Weasels, 45-17
MSU - never played
Minnesota - 1-0, the Vols defeated the Gophers, 21-14 in 1986
Nebraska - 1-2, Their Nebs won the first two meetings in 1998 & 2000, before joining the B1G. The Vols were victorious in their latest contest, 38-24 at the 2016 Music City Bowl.
Northwestern - 2-0, large margins of victory in both their meetings. Paved 'em like the Magnificent Mile.
tOSU - 1-0, Vols cracked the Bucknuts, 20-14 in 1996.
PSU - 2-3, The Vols defeated the visiting Nittany Lions twice during the 70s while Bill Battle was coach. PSU has won all three ensuing bowl game match ups.
Purdue - 0-1, the Boilermakers won their only game with the Vols, 27-22 in 1979.
Rutgers - 3-1, the Vols lost to Rutgers in their first meeting (1979) and won the next 3 games. For all, Rutgers was not yet a member of the B1G.
Wisconsin - 2-0, Tennessee prevailed in 1981 and 2008.

Guess I've only paid attention to local really. We've seen huge spikes since kids got back on local campuses.

I assume the schools will close as soon as the deadline passes to drop/add refunds. Close for on campus anyway.

It might honestly be heading back up now nationally (or in certain regions) but I thought for a bit recently it was going back down.
Nationally, it's been trending down fairly steadily since late July.

Trump takes to Warren and says they are on the one yard line and he thinks the B1G will play this year.

If this happens put Trump on Mt Rushmore as he has down more than Teddy at that point.

LOL Trump got tricked into thinking Warren was the one who had the power too

Apparently it leaked by Dan Patrick but then they took it down. So most likely a bunch of nothing. But don’t ever doubt the credibility of Sir Yacht.

I always think it is sad that Power 5 teams have never played each other. As long as these schools have been playing college football, you'd think they would have scheduled each other at some point. And it ain't just Tennessee, Illinois and Sparty that are missing some of the others.

We own your Roll Tide ass right now so you better watch your mouth. Alabama has been purposefully ducking Ohio State since 2014 just so they don’t get wrecked by another 3rd string QB. Well that was until Joe Burrow strolled on down to mess you guys up big time bro.
Also note that I gots nothing else to live for this fall so the above rant qualifies as a play off win by me over you.
Good luck this fall
Go Buckeyes
Roll Tide
Hopefully we can return to settling these issues on the field soon.
