Bundesliga 2020/2021 Ongoing Thread

Good Friday Bundesliga game. Dortmund vs Gladbach. Both desperately need wins. Dortmund go as Haaland goes and he has been quiet the last 2 games. I will pick Gladbach today.

And Haaland goes. Dortmund defense though horrible on that second goal. WTF with set pieces for them. But that was an entertaining wide open half.

Second goal was pathetic. Dortmund is pathetic. Dortmund can look pretty good at times and just lose. They have lots of talent but no intensity. Something missing. Bayern can look like total shit, but somehow win most of the time when they are shitty. 7 losses for Dortmund now. No hope for a title for them. It is down Bayern and Leipzig I believe. It is no wonder Germany sucks with clowns like Can, Hummels, Schultz, Reus, Brandt on the National Team. They suck now. Reus should retire. Ginter was great. I do like Ginter on Gladbach and the National Team.

BVB’s talent is all up front. They are surprisingly bad considering some of the players they have.

I honestly think Gladbach has a legit shot of flirting with the title this year. They are legit in my opinion. I’ve always been a fan of Ginter, Stindl, and Sommer. They have a pretty good coach too.
 
Leipzig about to have a big failure. Leverkusen too. If this stands Bayern up by 7 if they win tomorrow.

Seems everyone wants to be like Haalland there and it is wide open. They badly need to work on their defense and positioning. Players like Hummels and Can need to be better leaders. If they keep this up, they will not be playing Europe football next season.

Gladbach they are too far behind Bayern to catch them. Bayern schedule soft now until last few weeks of season where they have 5 or 6 tough games in row. Could be too far ahead by then. If Bayern wins tomorrow, they can lose 2 games still and no one catches them...that is if the closest team behind them Leipzig runs the table. It will be tough.
 
I mean I am at the point now where Sane and Gnabry can no longer start. They are completely worthless and holding this team back. If I were Hansi I would send a message right now and start Coman and Musiala in the second half and put Sane and Gnabry on the bench. Show some balls Hansi. There are no excuses for these wild shots week after week!!!! If Muller and Lewandowski don't score they are not going to score. This is Schalke who have not won 32 out of 33 games. If Gnabry and Sane can't look good against Schalke they will never look good. Also Davies looks like shit so where is Hernandez.

Hansi listened. Out with Sane, Gnabry, Davies, in Musiala, Coman, Hernandez. Next game start the latter 3. Muller and Lewandowski showing Sane and Gnabry how it should be done. Not that hard to hit the net if you can have some control. Touch over force. That is what Gnabry needs to learn.

No Pavard either. Interesting to see Süle at RB. I would've taken Sarr too. I still think he needs more playing time, Roca too.
 
Schalke played decently in the first half. Unraveled from there.

Sule looked way better than Pavard at right back. He actually generated a few decent chances on goal. I would say Sule was one of the best players out there today.

He definitely looked comfortable out there at RB. He's faster than many players realize until he blows by them too. He has the occasional long distance goal in his leg too.
 
Lampard just got the boot at Chelsea. Chelsea dealing with 2 German underachievers in Havertz and Werner just like Bayern with Gnabry and Sane.
