Stafford to Rams

I will say, it’s good to see Stafford finally out of the Lions organization. We will see what he is got...no excuses now. This is his chance to prove that he isn’t just some really good QB on a bad team most years. Hope the best for him

He was good when playing at 100% which wasn't often the past 5 seasons. I still believe the Rams gave away too much for him.

Well to me Mr. Glass is a guy with a history of Injuries. Missing 8 games in over a decade wouldnt constitute Mr. Glass Status in my book.

Mr. Glass played in more games than Goff. (not bad being made of glass) BTW why arent you considering Goff Mr. Glass?
Mr. Glass has more yards than Goff
Mr. Glass has more TDs than Goff
Mr. Glass has less INTs than Goff
Mr. Glass has a better Rating than Goff
Mr. Glass has a better QBR than Goff

Maybe Goff should play injured?

All this while Goff played on a talented team & Mr.Glass played on....... Well the Lions.

Face it The lions made the trade for the extra draft picks. Stafford is the better of the two QBs.
Downplay it all you like.
 
If Les can retain enough of those FA's through some creative accounting, that Rams team is a top 5 contender to win the SB. Would only have Tompa Bay ahead of them going into 21-22 out of the NFC.

They had to if they wanted to get rid of Goff. They know the sink is probably sinking, but they may as well fire their shots and try to snag a ring before they go under.

Goff played injured this past season but at only 26 he has a better chance of improving. Yes, Stafford leads Goff in most passing categories but the Lions never were a winning team with him at QB.

you put 90% of the QBs on the Lions & you would say the same thing.
I am talking player vs. player. Which is what you trade for.

If McVay doesn't show in LA there's a decent chance Goff isn't even in the league anymore. Dude's a system QB as system QB gets and the QB play is way too high for that BS in the NFL anymore.

Aaron Rodgers played on average talent Packers teams yet they almost always made the playoffs.

A QB strictly dependent on the coach and the roster around him being excellent to be functional.

Tom Brady was considered a system QB in New England but now has shown he can excel without Belichick.

Rodgers has played through injuries at a high level which is more than I can say about Stafford.
