Stafford to Rams

Detroit has 5 first round picks in the next 3 drafts. Call me crazy but I don’t think it’s a stretch to say the new GM will try rebuilding the Rams in Detroit. Goff and Swift and Hockenson and Golladay and some WR’s on O. The Online is above average. Use those picks to build up a monster defense and all of a sudden we look like the Rams.

Im excited to see what Anthony Lynn can do w him. Duce Staley too. What an all star cast of coaches he has to work with now.

Also looking at Ryans contract. he has a lot of restructures in there. Would trading ryan give them any cap relief or hurt them?
Reason I ask. Someone mentioned Ryan to the Colts. I think that would be an awesome marriage personally. But I am not sure Ryan can be moved.

Colts are in a win now mode as well, only without a QB.

I think they need to trade Ryan and Julio, but I doubt they will. I’m not real sure about the cap situation, but I know his contract was backloaded

But Ryan lacks football IQ. He makes mistakes that true freshmen in college know not to make

yep & in a keeper league so quality RBs are very hard to get. So I plan on using a keeper slot on him next year in hopes he is a big deal there. PPR league to boot.

with what looks like 2 years of signing bonuses & 3 years of restructures still on the contract. I am not sure you could trade him.
Some of the cap gurus might be able to tell us different, but his dead cap looks like it would be huge even if traded.

Julio Jones didn't play very many games with Atlanta last season. A nagging hamstring kept him out of many games.

Problem is Stafford's contract is a hell of a lot better than Wentz's and Stafford has proved he can be a reliable starter for more than a couple years. No way in hell the Colts will give up Leonard though.
