Where does Mahomes' performance last night rank among the worst QB performances in the SB?

I haven't watched any Super Bowl that happened prior to 1999(98 season), so if there's some old stinkers in there, some of you old timers can educate me. Also, odds are high that I'm forgetting someone obvious(I'm retarded, cut me some slack)

Only worse performances I can remember are Cam Newton in 2016 and Kerry Collins in 2001

I was pretty drunk and not really paying super-close attention, but it seemed to me that Tampa's secondary completely took Hill and Kelce out of the game. Mahommes looked scared to pull the trigger, and then it just got retarded at the the end there.

I was hammered, and I bet the over so I was pretty pissed last night
 
Dude was running for his life the whole game and on the few occasions when he did manage to get a catchable pass off, his fucking receivers didn’t catch it. He didn’t look great, but it was largely not his fault. Didn’t help that they have zero running game so the defense could just pin their ears back and go after him on every play.

They should've had a designed rollout for him with a run-pass option on those 4th down plays.

And despite all his off balance throws, the receivers could've caught some of them.

The OL issues really killed the Chiefs the most. They needed more plays to get the ball out of his hands quickly.

There were some drops, but they had a decent game on the ground, that wasn't the issue

Exactly. How many of those desperation passes that he threw while on the run or was getting tackled hit his receivers in the hands and they couldn't hold on.?

Rating wise Mahomes was worse than Cam. I don't know if anyone will beat Collins. He had a mind-blowing 7.1 QB Rating. I will say that was a pretty bad performance by Mahomes, especially the fact he was considered the best QB in the NFL and some were saying he would be the race to contend for GOAT. That's really what made it worse.
Cam got a MVP, that made it much worse.
Collins was never anything more than an average QB at best but still a brutal game on his part.

Collins is easily the worst of my lifetime. Yeah, he was never considered to be a great QB, and the Ravens had an all time great defense(as did the Broncos when Cam had his bad performance), but that was just God awful.
