Big Ten Basketball

MSU is so bad lol

Iowa beat them by 30 in a game that Fredrick didnt play and Garza didnt even hit double digits.

Watching Joey Hauser absolutely face plant his career is extremely satisfying.

Thats true but none of those other teams had an offense at this level either . Its fair to question the D but you can't ignore the offense either.

I think their defense is not as bad as the number says, after all, they haven't really been blown out, but I don't think the offense is as good either.

I think Iowa is pretty similar to this year's Nova team. Good half court offense, take crazy care of the ball, green light to shoot. But not dynamic.

Gonzaga OTOH can generate points off D, fast break, score ugly. Nova's backcourt D is a sieve.

It's gonna be a question of how many good shooting nights they can string together and who they draw.

Fair comp. Iowa has more ways to score at a high level having Garza but you guys are better in D. I'm honestly not scared of Gonzaga. Suggs shot lights out when we played in SD and we missed a ton of shots we normally make and it was still a 3 possession game with 2 minutes left. I'll take my chances in that matchup again. Baylor is scarier to me

I completely disagree with Gonzaga. I think Baylor is easier to match up with in that they dont have much of a post game. They have an abundance of guards(that are all really good) but that is much easier to match up with imo.

I agree with Jontae about Gonzaga. They can score in literally every way possible(3 pt shooting probaby their biggest struggle). Zags are electric in transition. Can go to work on you in the half court and have big atheltic guards that can break down a D when theres nothing there.

Against Baylor you have to defend a bunch of average sized guards. Against Gonzaga there is a match up nightmare in Kispert. A crafty post player in Timme. A long and athletic true PG in Suggs. A back up PG that would start on almost every team in Nembhard and another starting guard that might be the best rebounder on the team in Ajiay.

That Iowa vs Gonzaga game really wasnt close(not a knock on IOwa). Zags were in crusie control for almost the entire game, Timme and Kispert were in foul trouble and I think Gonzaga missed about 15 lay ups. They got to the rim at will.

Baylor and Gonzaga really needed that game that got canceled IMO. It would have helped both regardless of win or loss. Again, JMO.

Down 2 in the final minutes Trice blew past Dickinson and was gonna have a wide open layup, but he................dribbled the ball back out to the perimiter???

It was like something you would see if a team was up 5 with 10 seconds left and tried to dribble out the clock.

It largely wasn't close because we shot 22% from 3. Zags offense id very good but they're not capable of stopping Iowa from scoring unless we just miss open looks . Maybe Baylor isn't either but I dobt know that for sure. I know Gonzaga can't

Bad loss by Bucky . Just didn't make shit that second half

Wouldve been a fun one to watch

It will be more fun if they meet in the tourney having never played tho. that's the good things about all those early season games getting cancelled.

Baylor also had a game vs Nova cancelled.

Huskers win lol

We sure tried to choke away an 11 point lead

PSU is officially done as far as making the tournament.

Congrats to the Nebraska and the fans. Props to Hoiberg, he still has this team playing hard. Culture being set now, until more talent comes in next year, and the year after.

I'm afraid Baylor is in for some rough times pretty soon. All this on again/off again quarantine is bound to catch up with them. They haven't played in 12 days...postponing TCU, Oklahoma and Tech. Not sure how/when those will be made up if at all. They are scheduled at West Virginia tomorrow but travel in this part of the world is a mess right now.

Maybe they are old/experienced enough to get through it but it can't be good...other than they should be rested!

God we are so fucking bad on the road.

And no, not going for the jinx. We might legit lose by 30+. Pitino has got to go. We are going to be the worst team in the B1G next season.

I really don't understand how in a year of no fans, a team can be this bad on the road.

Did Richard even game plan for this game?!?!? You already played Maryland once this year too so it's not like we didnt have a game to reference.

This doesn’t seem like it’s true but I dunno
