Thursday the 3rd

Brought up a can of worms in our weekly meeting. Pissed the CTO off pretty much. He was claiming he was clueless that the implementation team brought it to his attention. Come to find out he created a sprint for it about 4 months ago and didn't do anything with it. Tried to turn it around on the implementation team & project managers and indirectly me. Other management stuck up though and made him look like an ass. Best quote was "You mean nobody knows anything about the item that has physically been in the office for almost 4 months!" One of the support guys put his camera on it as she says it.

THEY SAID NOT TO CALL THEM!!!!!!!
it says "to avoid high call volume"

that doesn't read as "don't call us" to me...it's more of a suggestion.

Just found out our associate, before leaving the firm, deleted all of her emails. Which is problematic because 1) Some of the clients stayed with our firm, 2) If a closed file needs additional work later, we'll have no ability to go back in and look at the history to gain context, and 3) God forbid we get sued by one of her clients and we have no ability to go back into the emails to get evidence.

She also set an out of office notice advertising her new firm....which we only found out about today because our paralegal accidentally forwarded an email to her email address with our firm instead of her email address at her new firm.

GTFOH with that nonsense. I sure hope IT is able to recover the deleted emails.

Luckily, if your IT is worth a shit, it should be restored within an hour...

She seems like a fantastic young lady overall.

I just listened to her version of Billie Eilish's my future. It's very good. Miley has a great voice.

Yeah

Whatever people think of her, the chick has got some goddamn pipes. Can't deny that

We'll see. The biggest problem is that we don't know how long ago she deleted most of them and whatever system we have can only go back 30 days.

Smells like lawsuit material.

I worked with a kid at the refinery who said he was a rapper, called himself Joey YAK. He said he had toured the country and partied with Miley Cyrus out in LA.
I said "That's great kid but I don't give a fuck. How about you shut the fuck up and get all those boxes out of the truck and carry them up on the 3rd floor landing."

What a fucking tool.
you look younger than i remember

how's your ima jr coming along? you have him snapping towels yet?
Damn kid just out there having fun. We could be out there training, goddamnit.

I hear Ram is bringing back the Dakota. I still every now and then think about getting a truck
