Generally I'm not into flags of any kind. The only time the battle flag is visible in my house is when I play Lynyrd Skynyrd videos.

There is a guy down the road that flies a confederate flag in his garage, and still has his trump sign out. We have always been fairly friendly, and I actually helped him when a neighbor dog ran into his house and was trying to kill his cats. Talked to him the other day and I couldn't help myself. "I see you're a fan of losers too" He just looked at me, and I followed with, "I'm a fan of the Bears and UNLV, and you're a fan of the confederacy, and trump" He laughed through a "fuck you", and took it pretty well. We have beers every so often, so he knows I will make jokes about everything, but I could tell it hit a nerve. Fuck it.

I mean, I got a kick out of people in the post-9/11 world who had "united we stand/these colors don't run" stickers next to their Confederate bumper stickers.

Definitely a bit of a pair of ducks.

Hey all. Made it back to western ND around 10pm last night. Was a long drive and I couldn't sleep when we got here. Fell asleep around 2am and had to get up at 6:30 for a mediation. Took a shower and sat down to finish prepping for the mediation and there was an email from the mediator saying it had to be cancelled because she was sick. I'm tired as hell right now.

Figured I could at least get a bunch of drafting done so I don't have to work at all tomorrow, but now my computer can't access my network, so I'm just sitting hoping to get access today so I can get two big things done this afternoon.

People dont realize that Vegas was a hub for the confederacy. Thats why UNLV has a rebel mascot. The confederacy was using the railway, through vegas to fund the civil war, by bringing gold from california. You would be surprised by some folks here.
