I too have (had in a sense) a crazy great Aunt. Hopefully less crazy than mine.
 
Speaking of vaccine, 6 more days left before I'm officially covid free for life.

I have begun negotiations to return to the ice already.

Here are the issues

My mom was in town and made a stop to see her. She was her annoying self and made everything about her, and later said my grandpa (my mom's dad) made a pass at her once (my grandpa has died nearly 23 years ago)

1. Even if true, why bring it up?
2. My grandpa was no saint and did cheat on my grandma, we all know this. We also all know (except apparently her) he hated her, so it's unlikely he made a pass at her, but she thinks everything is about her so probably just jumped to conclusion


This week my cousin posted on facebook her thoughts on recent current events. Let's just say 90+ year old white lady living in small town MN that once said she needed to leave said small town MN because it was getting too many black people (in front of my then ~6 year old niece) has different views than my cousin and let her know. Then after several rude responses posted in reply to same post, good look to your upcoming nuptials, I am very happy for you.

My aunt similar situation about month ago and AGAIN brought up the wedding and at least FB allowed her to see about wedding

She replied some nonsense to my mom today, my sister wants me to call her out, but it would annoy my mom so I decided to let it go..but it is tempting



While I've never liked her, she never knows when to shut her yap, I lost what little patience I had for her and her husband years ago when they basically put my grandma in the hospital.

My grandma went to Kansas with her sister (my great aunt) and her husband for a wedding. One the way home my grandma wasn't drinking water because she didn't want to ask Ed to pull over so she could pee, she ended up dehydrated and needing a night in hospital to get fluids. Ed wanted to leave her at hospital and have her figure out her own way home (I would've driven down and gotten her) but he was convinced to let her rest one day. Next day grandma still wasn't 100% but hospital agreed to let her go. Ed stopped for gas, it was my grandma's turn to pay, who was still out of it and recovering from dehydration and forgot and Ed made a scene at gas station and made my grandma feel guilty like she wasn't paying her share
