Hey, I thought Colorado was the best team in the league myself. Not because of the presidents trophy, they're fast, generally smart with the puck and positioning, and probably most of all... team chemistry. The Avs are a really good team, Vegas played a stronger defensive game in my opinion.
 
Said it earlier, Colorado are frauds. They got exposed in this series. They won game one on the scoreboard but notice was served to them that their typical bullshit wasn’t gonna fly in this series. McKinnon, Graves, etc were practically nonexistent for most of this series after game 1. Colorado is soft as cake. Unless they can throw cheap shots they aren’t tough at all. Tonight they got outmuscled in front of the net all night. There’s a reason they keep getting knocked out early.... they’re frauds.

Great team for sure, no doubt. Series was a mild upset even. But it's nice for all the jerkoffs who think they're better than everyone else because they use analytics for everything to get knocked down a few pegs after thinking Vegas didn't even have a chance.

Glad to see Vegas step up those blocked shots in this series including 34 tonight. It was a stat I got worried about when watching the Wild series.

Barring the OTL to the Avs in game 2, Vegas wins when they are getting in the way of the puck or at least not being out done too much. Obviously it isn't a fool proof metric or anything, there aren't any, but I like looking for stats that at least appear to make a difference in the series. I noticed this in the Wild series and started paying attention in this series too lol.

Shit I probably can't skate anymore either. I used to skate (ice and street) all the time as a kid, but I remember I went to some silly party where people were rollerblading like ten years ago now, I laced up thinking it was like riding a bike.... once I stood up, I shook my head and said 'fuck this'. Sat my ass back down, took em off, and brought em back to the counter and just watched lol.
