Bob Dylan turned 80 today

The Stones got rutted when Brian died. I don't have much interest in their music if it was produced after he passed.

The Beatles did what they set out to do each time. There were no other avenues to pursue together.
The Stones two best albums came post Brian IMO(Sticky Fingers and Exile on Main Street)

I can understand why people don't like Elvis, all they really know is fat lazy Vegas Elvis but he was fucking fantastic in the early years!

They’re less overrated than Queen, I’ll give em that.
Whether they are overrated or not is a different argument.

Most mainstream bands are overrated. Throw in an assassination and folklore, and that even makes it worse.

Without Elvis, there would be no Beatles or Rolling Stones.

Yes there would. Carl Perkins, Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Bo Diddley, Jerry Lee Lewis and all the old black blues singers were still there

Elvis opened the doors for all of them.
