Unless it’s design is to get beat up (gym shoes, gym headphones, yard tools etc.) yes? My work headphones? Treat them like an egg. My shoes that aren’t for the gym or yard work? Yep. Buy an otterbox defender case for my cell phone on the off chance I ever drop it, which I’ve never done in my history of owning cell phones. Treating non trash items like trash is…trashy.

My current vehicle isn’t a lease. Doesn’t mean I’m going to treat it like trash because it’s “mine”(like every single leased vehicle could be, had I chosen to buy out the lease…). Fuck, I find myself even more careful now that i actually “own” my current car.

Dropped them on pavement or a hard surface like a floor or something? Nope, never once. Tossed them from like 3 feet up onto a couch or something, yes. Taking care of important things isn’t that hard to do.

I own an Infiniti, Nissan luxury brand.

Nissan/Infiniti are bit behind competition but I've had good luck. My infotainment is glitchy and slow even by 2014 standard, but only complaint.

Nissan reliability is mixed. Not sure on Sentra.

Each person's view of important things is different. Sam Walton drove an old, beat up pickup truck. Some people don't drive at all. Both get to work in the same amount of time. If it works for you don't make it a must for everyone else.
