Ohio is finally cracking down on expired licenses and tags. Way too many cars driving along with no plates at all lately.

That's similar to what I tried to do back in the day.

My wife picked based on jersey colors.

At the end of the day, our results were usually the same.

When I first started going a little over year 15 years ago I picked based on 2 things

at least 10:1 odds and the picture next to horse indicating if it was horse that started fast, consistently paced, or a closer, I'd bet on the closers

I did better with that strategy, although it no longer really works

1. They stopped having pictures next to horses
2. quality of horses and amount of horses entered in a race decreased so less long shots won

It seemed like every third car in Omaha had no plates or temp tags. It was fucking wild.

You can usually notice a car and think, "well, that makes sense...", but even nicer cars driven by cleanish people had no plates/tags. It was wild.

Pretty hard to win any money with fields of less than 8 horses.

Morning everyone. Survived the first day back in the office yesterday. It actually felt pretty good to be back... My desktop monitor made my laptop screen look like it was two inches... I forgot how good it an be to work on an actually computer monitor instead of a 13/15 inch laptops monitor.. Got sooooo much more completed yesterday while in the office... Only had 12 people there not too shabby. Too bad the catering company that was there is no longer and will not be coming back so that's a downside...

One day a week will not be bad at all going into the office... Still remembered how badly I hated the commute home but it won't kill me
