Eh, I'm weird with tips. I always need it to be a round number, always divisible by 5, but always at least 20%+ unless the service is complete trash, then it's 0%.Look, Uncle Moneybags, it's easier to tip 30% when you order off the kids menu.
Why?Eh, I'm weird with tips. I always need it to be a round number, always divisible by 5, but always at least 20%+ unless the service is complete trash, then it's 0%.
So, for a $45 bill, it will always be either $55 or $60.
Pretty waitresses earn bigger tips — from womenSeriously, there should be, if not already, a study that shows the more attractive the server, the better their tip is
No study needed. Common sense.Seriously, there should be, if not already, a study that shows the more attractive the server, the better their tip is
he went to prep school and never had a high school jobIf that is what you think a busboy does....
Ironic that the picture from this article is of course, from Hooters
Shrug.Why?
"without busboys." That's funny.
Anyway, the places that I worked at, servers/bartenders "tipped out" busboys and bar backs, meaning a percentage of their tips are shared with them.
You can stuff your common sense in a sack, MisterNo study needed. Common sense.
All things being equal, better-looking people will do better at everything.
So your floor is 20%? If its below par you don't tip anything?Shrug.
OCD thing or some shit.
And I'd never tip less than 20% unless it was trash.
I agree with that. But part of the service experience is whether or not you are waiting around for a table to be cleaned, have someone tell you they can't get you something until some glasses are cleaned, etc.Highly skilled may be a misnomer. But to the customer, the difference in good and bad service is noticeable.

I'd rather try to stuff a handful of Skittles in my foreskin. You can stuff your common sense in a sack, Mister
I don't think that is always the norm though."without busboys." That's funny.

Yep, I have seen that too. I worked In restaurants in HS and early college. Chefs/cooks are the kings but they had better treat the waitstaff and backrooms as royalty also or else all your work is for nothing.
20% is automatic for me. Always has been.So your floor is 20%? If its below par you don't tip anything?
I did not get tipped out as a busboy."without busboys." That's funny.
