Sky Jacking: What a History

He was convinced Fidel had created a post race utopia (the fuck?)
Honestly not surprising. Lot of super far left people have an admiration for Castro, throw in it being a tropical paradise and you have the poor suckers who want to go there.

I’m not surprised it was there. I’m surprised it lasted as long as it did when all experiences were showing to be contradictory to the extreme.

Fidel didn’t give a fuck for their daring efforts. I’m sure to him they were all CIA spies anyway.

You’re right about that. That’s just what it was.

I’m not sure what the link for the later hijackings was pertinent to. But, carry on.
because the title is "Skyjacking: What a History"

you just want to limit it to the 60's and 70's? Ok.

It’s nomenclature nonsense, I know. For some reason they called it skyjacking in those days, and after that it was hijacking. It’s really the same thing at its core.

But, yes, since the title of thread says Skyjacking and the link covers the rash of skyjackings way back when that is the timeframe we’ve been discussing under.

Do you consider the 60s and 70s as the early days of air travel?
I'd say it is more the golden era of commerical air travel

I was unaware that you intended to limit to 2 decades.

I apologize.

only allowed to tell that story in this thread if it happened on a plane in the 60's or 70's though

I thought "sky jacking" was when you wack off in the airplane bathroom

No, get your nomenclature right. Skyjacking became a totally different meaning after the mid 70s.

Totally allowed to tell that story.
