It's dumb.. like I can't remember anything big happening last season when it came to it. Of all the things the conference could actually try changing..they took time out for this? How about amping up it's officiating instead of worrying about hand gestures?

One year my Dad and I really upset Mom when we decided to skip Thanksgiving dinner and go to the OU/Nebraska game. Mom was seriously P.O'd because the whole family was going to be there. I still remember meeting Dad at a truck stop about halfway between us and him hopping into the car so we could get an early start on our drive to Lincoln. We both shook our heads and agreed we were in hot water. It turned out to be a great game and one of the best memories I have with my Dad. I would have forgotten that Thanksgiving dinner within a week. Go with your heart. You can always make it up to someone for missing an event but you can never get the opportunity back to make a wonderful memory.

I will give Tom credit for getting the ball rolling with the help of Mike Perrin then CDC (ADs) on improving the dept as a whole. They re-did the lockers and then got the SEZ project going on.
He also stacked the roster unlike what Mack left Chuck after his initial season here. Chuck atleast did the favor and did not do what Mack did to him as he exited as the Herman era began.

This roster while not loaded, is pretty damn solid.
