Nebraska Cornhuskers The Official 10000 posts for a Husker Conference Championship

I think if you go in the 3rd round you don't go back to school? But with 2 years of eligibility left, who knows? Has a chance to improve his draft stock even more.
Will be interesting on what bonus he is offered. He has the leverage of if doesn’t like what is offered to go back to school.

Cannot say I am excited they hired Trev Alberts. Who kills a National Championship caliber wrestling program? - Trev of course. Who can kill a football program with a stroke of a pen? - Trev of course. Sumbitch got Ralston to build an arena to host Maverick sports and walked away leaving Ralston a financial mess. Great guy this Trev Alberts is huh?

What do you expect for him to do in the situation? They were in terrible financial situation. He has to do something, with the football program losing a ton of money and not being able to really stay Division 2 ?

I don’t know anything about the arena thing ? You got a link of what happened there

Meh it’s over and done with.

Will Nebraska add men and womens’ hockey?

Husker football team picked by the media to finish 5th out of 7 West Division teams - I simply cannot contain my excitement about that.

I guess that is what you get when your team is loaded with 3 stars and half (or more) of the 4 stars don't live up to that rating or coaching can't coach them up to college game level. How long do you stay with Frost? Do you think he can turn corner in next 2-3 years? I hope so, not really sure where they turn to next if he doesn't work out. Do you keep him longer than 3 years if he keeps up his less than below average ways?

I feel like if Frost can get out of his own way as OC we can have a breakthrough year. Most of D back and it was the bright spot from last year. Should be better there. The O playcalling / execution needs to get better. If Yant or Stepp or someone else can step up at RB and be a 1000 yard back that would be a tremendous help as SF will be forced to call that number more and won't try and get so cute all the time. WR depth is better as well. hopefully AM getting in lots of reps with them this summer.

I feel like the Illinois game will tell the tale of the season. New coach and played like crap against them last year. If they can come out of the gate and play well then it's game on for a good season and exceeding expectations. especially with Fordham 2nd and can keep that confidence rising.

I talked to a UCF fan at a gas station in South Carolina a couple days ago. He said he is still following Frost at Nebraska. He said Frost is pass happy which doesn’t work in the B1G. I guess everyone else sees it also.

Pass happy with QB's not very good at passing and average WR's. Now I understand the heavy emphasis on those swing passes to the left and right.

SI predicts a 4-8 season for the Huskers. I am glad the Huskers are predicted to play, even the non-Conference games this year. ~ ah yes, the bright side of life!
