So, does the SECCCG stay in Atlanta, move to Dallas, rotate between the two or move to a more central location like Nashville or New Orleans?

It likely won't go to Nashville because it is an outdoor arena. I can see Dallas, Houston, and New Orleans in play because they all have in-door facilities similar to Atlanta. In fact, I am counting on some rotation. Too much $$$$ on the table to not have a game out west plus it would help the new teams as well as some of the Western-most original SEC schools like Arkansas and LSU.

When do Texas and OU fans start chanting SEC?

Welcome Sooner and Longhorn fans. I hope you have fun.

If the divisions split East and West, I see some great matchups happening. LSU vs. Oklahoma will be one of them. I think that is going to be a great annual game.

SEC chant has gone of gone out of style the last 5-10 years. It was more used back when the league felt disrespected. Keep in mind that the SEC is the only Power 5 league to have had a undefeated Champion left out of the BCS title game (Auburn 2004).

I don’t see Houston happening, but maybe. I think the best move would be an Atlanta, New Orleans and Dallas rotation

But now with Texas fans here, it will start all over again. And if there's something that will haunt all of us, it will be Texas fans chanting S-E-C at college gameday shoots.

I’m sure some dumb kids will do it ironically.
And we chanted it sarcastically when our backups were destroying UGA in a bowl.
But sincerely, it’ll never happen.

What is weird is that rumor about Ohio State and Michigan talking to SEC. I don't make much of it but it would be even more funny to see Michigan and Ohio State fans chanting SEC.

If OSU or Michigan join, the name of the conference would have to change, it’s already a stretch with Texas and Oklahoma schools being in the Southeastern Conference

It is a slight stretch only though, Oklahoma and Texas are not that far away from Ole Miss, LSU, and some of the original members. Michigan and Ohio State are a major geographical out-tier.

Not really, I mean, they’re not far from Kentucky, you just couldn’t keep calling it the Southeastern Conference with them though
