word is that Eltife, Harzell were way ahead of this and had Gov Hot Wheels firm agreement that he would do nothing to stop this.

About time UT did what was right for them, not having to carry other public universities of the state. The private schools can go fuck themselves

I said it the day the deal was signed (which you well know) and this is just the last step in the end.

Oklahoma is going to weather this fine but there is going to be bad blood against Texas for years to come particularly within your state. You’ve screwed hundreds of thousands of fans from other programs and everyone of them will not forget it.

you do know that the original members all reluctantly agreed to even form the Big 12 right? There were issues from the very start.. Both conferences (Big8/SWC) were both dead men walking, the merger was always going to be a short term fix.. and they had quite the run.

Quit blaming the LHN for what happened in 2011.. Texas, aggy, ou and NE all voted AGAINST a conference channel since they all believed they could do it better with an exclusive deal.. UT actually got it done and it's their fault? Please

Think about the $$$ and viewership of Texas vs. Texas A&M once it gets renewed as an SEC Conference game.

I do love the simple perception that Texas threatens to leave and OU is just a simpleton that follows. It’s either that or simpletons bought into the perception
