Because it makes me feel better and... well... I spent six weeks in the US eating and drinking everything I saw.

I drank a gallon of water, took a sleeping tablet and slept/pee'ed for the next 12 hrs. I feel like a million bucks now.

I go 3-4 times a week and limit myself to alcohol once at week at most and sometimes even on the day I'm allowed I've started choosing not to partake, even if friends do. I always feel better without.

I'm generally a 1-2 drinks a day person these days. Definitely don't "get after it" like I did in my 20s.

When I was in California I lived where it took a solid hour to get to the beach we liked (Delmar) but there were constant great white sightings and occasional attacks so we rarely ever went. I much prefer swimming in the Atlantic anyway.

I'm about 20 minutes inland. Best freeloading concert experience available at Asbury Park, during the summer we'll go to a playground that's across the street from the Stone Pony and listen to the bands. Have the Dropkicks/Rancid show, Bouncing Souls, and Flogging Molly circled on the calendar to introduce my son to.
