I miss living close to the NJ shore...any beaches on the ocean are 3 hrs from me now.

When I was in California I lived where it took a solid hour to get to the beach we liked (Delmar) but there were constant great white sightings and occasional attacks so we rarely ever went. I much prefer swimming in the Atlantic anyway.

August 2019 was the last time I was on a coast. Hopefully that'll be rectified in the next 6 months.

I may be passing through your neck of the woods in a few months. We're thinking about visiting friends in Virginia Beach in the fall. I'll be sure to wave.

I went to castle “island” on the weekend. Pretty nice place, and a nice beach right in the heart of Boston. But questionable water with warnings about water quality. WTF? More dogs in the water than people. Why does the water suck here? All of the tea still in there or something?
