Move WVU to the ACC
Move ISU to the B1G

I'd hope that the top 2-4 Pac teams would bolt before that were to happen. The ONLY benefit for that lineup would be for the "Little 8" discards from the soon to be 'former' Big12.

The Pac12 has enough issues as it is and this would just keep the Pac in the conference cellar.

One of those "Little 8" ran the ball down the Pac Champ's throats in the Fiesta Bowl. :)

Kansas... lame.

I am cool with this, so long as they pick up ISU, Colorado, USC, UCLA, Oregon, and Washington as well. Or maybe a couple decent squads in the ACC (I.E. North Carolina, Miami, FSU, Clemson, Pitt, Virginia with Va Tech, BC would be cool, hell I'd even be ok with NC State... just leave Duke, GTech, Wake, and Syrcause.

Kansas is a one trick pony and that pony is sick. The whole KU athletic department is a clown show. They've got five Level 1 allegations pending against their basketball program including charges against Bill Self (with his "lifetime" contract) and lack of institutional control. Yeah that's a situation the B1G should jump on quickly before someone else can grab that clusterfuck of a school. They don't even pretend to play other sports and now their Queen Bee is in jeopardy of being put on probation. I personally hope Kansas does jump ship and increase the odds of OU not having to pay out all the GOR $$$ but no one in their right mind should want another school in their conference that's likely to be an embarrassment and a financial drag.

I agree. The Big 10 should only consider a KU expansion if the Big 12 completely disintegrates.

Sit back and let the dust settle.

This is my thinking.
Why tFuck would you bring that shit into your Conference.

Everyone else seems to think it's a done deal already.

The only reasons would be academic and revenue. Both of which would be the only things the Big 10 would care about.

If Duke, Ga Tech, Virginia, had similar allegations against them you don't think the Big 10 would pursue either if they could?

I'm not convinced Kansas joining the Big Ten is imminent. The Big Ten's next move is going to be UNC, UVA, Duke and/or GT. But that's probably down the road a bit.

It's been pointed out their GOR's are 15 years deep, as well as legislation that binds some of those to the hips of others.

The $76 million each for TX/OU is chump change compared to those.

What is sad is that if you go back to Big8 days, Kansas Football wasn't that bad. They competing in some big games and had good seasons. They just haven't done anything in football in the last 15-20 years other than when Magino was there. Kind of sounds familiar... :(.

Interestingly, there is some optimism in Knoxville this year. Something that I haven't seen in a long time (at least since 2015). Not sure why.

You need a date at the High School Dance and all of the hot girls are taken so you go with the a "6" or so just to have someone to dance with.

A plethora of hype videos out of the athletic dept?

I wish Tennessee would get they're shit together. It's hard to hate a Vol when you feels sorry for them. LOL

I can see them going after those teams but not sure any will bite except UVA. I think there still has to be some geographical connection (even if it is a stretch). Every team added to a Power 5 except West Virginia has had some type of Geographical connection to the league where it could fit in and create some synergy. For example, Nebraska is connected to Iowa and is very close to Minnesota and Wisconsin and can be somewhat classified as Midwest. Maryland and Rutgers have connection to Penn State.

Regarding SEC, Texas A&M had played LSU 50x prior to joining the league and was in a league with Arkansas in the past. Similar situation with Texas and its relationship with Texas A&M and Arkansas. Oklahoma has a connection with Missouri and borders Arkansas. Arkansas-Oklahoma also has the Barry Switzer connection.

Colorado and Utah are Western teams and it wasn't a stretch to fit them in with the Pac12.
