Yeah, my parents are in the country on 40+ acres. Although you can pop off a 22 without anybody ever knowing.

I just a pork tenderloin yesterday, so obviously nothing has changed, just something I've considered.

Or I might go halfway and only buy from butcher shops I know that locally source from smaller farms, it would cost more

I also pay more for eggs to get cage free and/or free range

The ribs I smoked this weekend were from the pig my parents raised. Pretty fucking good.

Only thing that ever made me feel somewhat bad was when i saw a veal farm. But then I had some veal and forgot all about it.
