man, I was in a funk yesterday...not sure if it was the normal Monday funk or what.

did end up taking the dog for a walk once it cooled down and made some unstuffed pepper casserole in the instant pot..but it was a waste of a night really.

I have volleyball tonight but might need to skip to fill in for my tennis team...gonna have to check with one of my players who hasn't confirmed that he will be there.

Put in a solid 11 hours last night at work. Trying to get ahead of the curve before my Appalachian, SE coast fishing trip.

Got my new wading shoes yesterday...recycled Michelin tire tread.

Ah. Another morning. Mrs has been in the hospital since Sunday night. Not COVID (tested twice fwiw). Handling five kids with no backup. Woot.

Luckily two of them are 19 and 21 and can help with the younger ones.

can't go wrong with Orvis gear.

morning all, back to work after 3 day weekend.

Over weekend my mom fell and broke her elbow and wrist, it's her second fall in the past few months. She's also getting a little forgetful. She turns 70 in Feb, I think most of it is just normal almost 70 stuff, but I'm trying to pay more attention to signs of issues. But currently more evidence she's fine and just getting older
