I'm not writing him off, that's why i said it was going to be interesting to watch this season.. But for a school that has championship aspirations, can't sell me that starting two true freshman along the OL with a first year starting QB is a good sign.

oh I know, again not knocking it. But IMO I think this will be a growing pains sort of season for y'all.. Think next season sets up much better despite Leal most likely playing in the NFL by then. Y'all have recruited well along the DL.

See, that I can agree with. The flat out notion that starting two freshmen at OL and a freshman QB means trouble, I can't. When there are vet options there, if a freshman wins the starting spot then I'm thrilled. And A&M has vet options at every OL position. Also at QB. So the difference is when you are forced to start a freshman vs the option because he is the better player.

Just know that you can have super seniors everywhere on your team next season, while UT has only freshmen and Jucos.. we still beating you on Turkey Day #AllGasNoBrakes

Depends who you ask:
A&M fans: solid year, developmental year, hoping for a top 15 finish but happy with a top 25 before any bowl
Jexas fans: Claim A&M is the favorite to win everything up to and including the super bowl so they can claim at the end of the year A&M is overrated and pretend the fans care too much
SEC competitor fans: A&M is still the noob on the block and has to prove anything to be spoken about
