
Considered a Southern state or no? To me Arkansas seems more like a Midwest state, sort of same boat as Missouri and Oklahoma.

But borders Texas, Oklahoma, and Missouri...and maybe a few hour drives from Kansas.It borders Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. That should tell you all you need to know about how "South" Arkansas is.

To the South of Missery, and Mexas and Okie are generally considered to be "southwest", along with Zona and NMex. This is as difficult as you make it.But borders Texas, Oklahoma, and Missouri...and maybe a few hour drives from Kansas.
