Bundesliga 2021/2022

I like Nagelsmann's adjustments and have confidence in his as a coach. His attention to little details has some comparing him to Pep to a degree. Kimmich is happy, as is Goretzka. The team is playing well. RL9 keeps scoring. Gnabry is back to his older form. Süle is making a case for a new contract. A lot is going well with Nagelsmann so far.
Everybody in form now. You are right. Sane, goal and two assists and could have had more if shot had not failed him, Gnabry goal, Kimmich two goals. Defense a rock.

Well Bayern in first now due to goal differential.
Wolfsburg should have won that game. Weghorst shanked a gift, then offside at the end even Weghorst pleaded for a foul. I really Weghorst hold up play too.
First goal they allowed this season in play. It was a sweet goal. I added Kostic to my fanstasy team this week.

Disappointing Wolves result. They easily should've won that match.

Especially in second half. Trapp made some good saves though.
He did. Trapp has always been a solid keeper. He made a great save on an Arnold set piece. It was an entertaining match. At least the Wolves got a point out of it.

I was looking at season stats so far. Wolves 7 goals, 2 allowed. The 2 allowed is great but they need to score more than 7 at this point. I heard in the game Arnold has 0 assists this year so far? Weghorst is the one guy that can do it all, but they need others to step up more on the offensive end.

Exactly. Scoring is what they lack. Every team that plays them will mark Weghorst. They need other options.

Need more from the wings and hopefully Nmencha and Waldschmidt. Weghorst is an incredibly hard worker. Like Haaland doesn't like to make mistakes or lose. And does the rare holdup play well that all great strikers need to do. Lewey and Kane are great at that part, and need some physically to do that part well. Striker is definitely the hardest position in soccer.

That defense is superb though. Another great signing on defense is Sebastiaan Bornauw. I remember him from Koln last year. Seemed to be their best defender imo.

Off topic: Weghorst face looks like a brother from another mother of Brett Favre.

Don't forget: Bayern is the Friday Bundesliga game. Nice to get extra day off before Dynamo Kiev and Greuther Firth on the schedule. Don't think it will matter. Bayern should run both these into the ground. They are already +16 goal differential. A machine so far under Nagelsmann.

Very poor performance by Bayern today. Lucky they played Firth. Passes in box were attrocious by everyone. Lewandowski misses record by one game and he was bad too. I think they had 3 shots in goal very late in games. Inexcusable! Red card didn't help, but they were bad before that. No where near the performance we saw last week against Bochum.

Yeah, I thought it was sloppy. Had that been against even a team in the middle of the table, might’ve been a different result.

Golazo for Baku.

Must win for Wolves.

Florian Wirtz scored again for Leverkusen. Only goal of game. He is having a great start to season. Him and Musiala both 18. Crazy good for Germany.

I think he became the youngest player to score 10 Bundesliga goals.

Bas start for BVB. Down a goal and playing with 10.

Same ole BVB. Shut out. Odd day in European football. Dortmund, Wolfsburg, Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester United shutout.

Edit: Real Madrid too but they tied.

I see Haaland and Reus out today for Dortmund so there is an excuse there when you also include the red card.

Yeah. Put a damper on the match from the start.

At Leipzig finally put on a show. Only the Stuttgart game this did they look like this. I am actually rooting for Leipzig more now that Marsch is coaching.
