2) No ideas up the middle.
3) Terrible or indecisive crosses.

If I were a bold coach I would bring Wirtz, Musiala, Adeyemi on at half. Seen this story before with this group on the field in first half.

They righted the ship in second half...just barely. Thomas Muller came on and saved the day with one of his classic Raumdeuter goals.

Bad performance! Not one threat on goal. Crossing and midfield brutal. Probably never will be. Half the team not there though but still. Was hoping for a tie but Zhardis gaffed.

Seriously. Not one real decent shot on goal. How could they with the horrible crossing, wasting passes, midfield giveways. At least the defense looked decent. Leave everyone home and then quality you bring leave them on the bench. We now now know from this game who is useless when USA fully healthy.
