We once hired a paralegal that filed unemployment on us even though he never worked a single day for us. We hired him and he was supposed to start 2 weeks later. A couple days before he was supposed to start he emailed us and said he had Lyme's disease and was in the hospital and would need a later start date. After about a week, I started some internet sleuthing and found out that he was actually in court-ordered treatment because he was convicted of some sort of heroin-related crime. So we terminated him and he then filed unemployment against us. Didn't even need a hearing on that one....the court kicked it straight to the curb.
I hate those. We thought we had a slam dunk case. Nope
congratulations?Broke my 1/2 inch drill clean in half drilling on the truck frame.
Cheap drill I bought at Ace in Florida to drive the anchors down to strap my utility trailer down per resort rules so I could leave it there.
So wife is going to pick me up a Skil 1/2 inch drill at Menards on her way to work so I can continue with the project in the morning. One year guarantee.
I was actually making progress when it broke. When I quit on it yesterday I was thinking it was impossible so things are looking up a little.
Well thank you!congratulations?
Stakes trying to rip the food right out of the homeless's mouth over here.
Did he get fired from job #2? Why wouldn’t he file against them?
Not happening unfeeling massah.Thats how I roll
Get a job hippie
smoke flavor added, how insulting to you is that?
Yeah, when I read that, I almost posted, "well, that's almost interesting," but I'm feeling somewhat less snarky than usual today.Almost off? Do you have to ween yourself off of this shit?
Do you have a trashcan under your desk?Getting bored at work as I've done everything I can today.
pretty ballsy on his partWe once hired a paralegal that filed unemployment on us even though he never worked a single day for us. We hired him and he was supposed to start 2 weeks later. NoDo you have a trashcan under your desk?
Carpet?
But wouldn’t that have to start with you laying them off rather than leaving voluntarily?I've had a few situations where employees have succeeded in spreading a claim among multiple employers actually. I'm sure that's their goal.
Apparently only for a short time.Yeah, when I read that, I almost posted, "well, that's almost interesting," but I'm feeling somewhat less snarky than usual today.
