SIL has already bagged an antelope. Made Jalapeno poppers with them for us on Saturday night.

Mr. Kobe started bow hunting for deer a few weeks ago. Nothing bagged yet. He gets up at 4am on the weekend and comes home around noon. That’s in addition to his 6 days of pheasant hunting, 3 weekends of deer hunting with rifles and muzzles loaders, and 2 weekends of Turkey hunting.

Can’t wait for the goose/duck hunting to start at some point.

Finally learned how to properly trim pork spare ribs this weekend. Smoked them yesterday and made rib tips with the trimmings. Electric smoker went to shit, so I was forced to smoke them on the grill. Now I’m in the market for a new smoker.

I will say that colored balls in the fall are terrible...I can never find them in all the leaves
