As much as I’ve bitched about our over aggressive base running this year, even when warranted, it absolutely won us the game yesterday.

Snit matched every dumb pitching move Roberts made. It was the reckless base running that will probably cost you more than it helps you in the long run that was the difference last night
 
Been a great two games so far. But you wonder how it would’ve been if key injuries like Acuna for the Braves and Muncy for the Dodgers didn’t happen.

Yeah. A split second on either home plate throw would’ve made a huge difference.

Never can tell. We probably don’t make as many trades if Acuna doesn’t go down and while nobody comes close to being as good as Acuna, the lineup as a whole is deeper now than it was before Acuna went down(Heredia and Arica were pretty much everyday players). Acuna will come back and dominate next season. I firmly believe he would have been MVP if he didn’t go down this year.

But as it stands now, let’s just get Soler back in the lineup because the bench is horrible without one of the outfielders on it

It turner actually not just jogging from first when the rbi hit got past CF. He would have been the Dodgers fifth run.

Braves have lost 10 of their last 11 in LA. I’d argue the first two games were both must wins for the Braves. Series is far from over
