tOfficial PAC-12 Thread

Not to quibble, but you said precisely, "8-0 PAC team is in."

That's why I persisted in my follow-up. I think a 1 loss CC from any of the 3 teams playing 10 games and a CC would get in before them. A 9-0 B1G gets in before them, and I think an 8-1 B1G CC gets in before them. By playing less games than everyone, and not having a CC so that the two best teams have to face each other, eliminates them. I honestly think that a 1 loss non-CC from the SEC or the ACC (assuming Clemson or ND) would also get in before them.
8-0 PAC champ will be in over a 8-1 B1G champ.

Not a chance, and it would make zero sense. Less games, no CCG win. Plus, it's the PAC which no one has any respect for, even more so for their feckless reaction to this pandemic.

You realize the PAC is on the committee, along with the rest of the conferences.

I realize that the PAC is considered the least competitive conference of the P5 conferences. It's why they are most often left out. That's not going to change this year. Other than simply declaring 8-0 PAC team goes, you haven't pointed out any reason why they would go before a champ of another conference, that played more games and won a CCG. Let's hear your rationale, I've given mine.

Also, I can't see them getting started by Halloween. It will take them another week for their decision at least, and they can't be ready in a month. They've not been practicing like the B1G has. If they don't get started by Halloween, they will play 6-7 games, then they won't even be considered.

They are most often left out because no one makes it through unscathed. Oregon would have clearly been in over Oklahoma last year if they had beaten ASU.

So Halloween start!?!?!?!???
We doing this!?!?!??

wE DOING THIs!?!?!?!??

Sounds like November 1st at the earliest. UCLA was named as one of the school who would be vote yes at the moment but they said two other unidentified universities voted no until next week. So for sure Cal was one, but who could the third be? Guessing Oregon or Washington.

who considers it the least competitive? that seems to be more what we hear about the ACC. all they have had for the last few years is Clemson.
the Big XII has Oklahoma and then maybe another team Baylor last year texas in 18 who look good then a bunch of 8 win teams?

You're wasting your time. @WhosYourDawggy has already outed himself as the resident dumbass on the CFB Board... @AlaskaGuy can breathe a sigh of relief...for the moment.
