tOfficial PAC-12 Thread

I'd take that deal although personally I'd like to see Washington join the B1G West.
Why are you afraid of Texas and Oklahoma? Most teams would love to play in B1G West.

Not afraid of UT or OU .. the B1G would just be a better fit for UW imo not to mention the B1G makes bank from its TV contracts. But ya any conference move is a plus imo seeing how the PAC sucks ass anymore.

Well the B1G West is easier than the Pac 12 North so that was what I getting out of that.

How in the world does Larry Scott keep his job?

Is it possible for someone to be so weak in what he does. He cancels the minute the B1G does, the SEC/ACC/B12 keep playing. The B1G decides they need to play to stay relevant. At no time does the PAC reach out to the states to see if they can practice. The minute they do, exceptions made.

Even if they start by Halloween, the PAC is out of the CFP. They just can't play enough games.

He keeps his job because somehow behind closed doors he is a great salesman. He sold that he was responsible for the Williams sisters and somehow sold that spending twice his salary on a HQ and Jet for him to fly first class in even though he doesn’t understand which games to attend.

8-0 PAC team is in.

8-0 PAC team is in.
Not a chance. The only way they get 8 games in is to start Halloween and end the 19th. That means no conference championship. No CC, 8-0 doesn't mean shit.

Look, playing 8 with a CCG when others are playing 10 and 11 plus a CCG is bad enough. But the B1G can pull that off with an undefeated team. But 8 and no CCG ... that won't fly.

Disagree.

So, which of the other 4 conferences that are playing at least 8 games plus a CC is going to be left out? It's not like the PAC has ever been more than an afterthought anyway. Why now, when they are the last to the table, will play the fewest games, with no CCG do you think that they are guaranteed a slot in? Makes no sense, IMO.

I never said they would be guaranteed. Only that a 8-0 PAC team would likely be in. (I don't think any PAC team will go undefeated)

Not to quibble, but you said precisely, "8-0 PAC team is in."

That's why I persisted in my follow-up. I think a 1 loss CC from any of the 3 teams playing 10 games and a CC would get in before them. A 9-0 B1G gets in before them, and I think an 8-1 B1G CC gets in before them. By playing less games than everyone, and not having a CC so that the two best teams have to face each other, eliminates them. I honestly think that a 1 loss non-CC from the SEC or the ACC (assuming Clemson or ND) would also get in before them.
