Your Top 6

Ohio state getting a lot of deserved love after rallying from a defeat to go undefeated through the gauntlet of Akron, Rutgers, Maryland, and Indiana

Not good teams for sure but there are teams in front of them who have played not good teams and struggled. In those four games, Ohio States offense has been forced to punt only two times.

150 points in 156 plays. That's impressive no matter what. I'm not crowning them national champions or anything but they have been insanely good these past few weeks

They are doing what they are supposed to do, that's how I look at it. I am impressed bc of how many freshman are playing on this roster. Most freshman playing in 80 years. Still have to see them play vs the best of the best the B1G has to offer, no one can deny that. But if they can win the B1G this year of all years...it would be incredible imo

Why would it be incredible? The B1G, while having many teams ranked highly, are truly not very good.

PSU just lost to Illinois

MSU needed a punt return TD to beat Nebraska, after being held to 0 1st downs in the 2nd half

UM almost lost to Rutgers after putting up like 20 yards of offense total in the 2nd half

It is pointless to even talk about the B1G West, as OSU can beat the majority of the teams by double digits with their 2nd string

Truth be told -- OSU has vastly more talent on their roster than any team in the B1G and it isn't even remotely close. I'd wager they have twice as many 5 star recruits than the rest of the B1G teams combined, not to mention, you could also say the same about top 100 recruits.

The only teams who can match talent with OSU is Bama, Georgia and Clemson (even though Clemson looks like a train wreck this year)

OSU should be a 2+ TD favorite over every B1G school based on talent alone.

Clemson does not look like a train wreck. They absolutely are a train wreck that an airplane crashed into, that Kobe’s helicopter fell on top of.

Yeah -- I know they have dealt with a ton of injuries, but yikes, they fell like a ton of bricks this year.

Not saying they can’t be top 6, but seems early to get back on the train. They have plenty of games to earn their way back there

It’s the defense. Indiana has scored 22 pts their last 3 (7.33 average), Maryland 47 (15.67), and Rutgers 33 (11). I can’t put OSU in the top 6 until I see them play an offense with a pulse. Everyone knows the offense is good, the defense is the question

I can see that. The defense definitely is still a question mark. It might not matter though if the offense continues to play at the level they are playing at.

I think it is safe to say they won't -- Akron has played 2 P5 teams -- they gave up 60 and 59. Maryland has given up 155 points in their last 3 games with one being OSU, but the other two were Iowa and Minnesota. IU is IU. They've been beaten to hell this year and they are on like their 4th QB. I think they've given up on the season.

Props to OSU for going out and putting it on those teams, but Oregon is the only team OSU has played with a pulse this year. The offensive numbers are still impressive and i think OSU is still the team to beat in the B1G -- I just think their defense is going to be their downfall this year.

Just don't get OU love. Top 6, ok. But they barely beat KU the worst team in the P5 and G5, or close thereto.

01. Georgia Bulldogs
02. Ohio State Buckeyes
03. Alabama Crimson Tide
04. Michigan Wolverines
05. Baylor Bears
06. Cincinnati Bearcats

Hey, we're doing pretty good beating everybody we play when we show up each game and only play for one half. If these players ever decide to play a whole game (dependent on getting some key injured players back on the field) OU will be hard as hell to beat and could win it all. IF. Like "if" your aunt had balls, she'd be your uncle. We'll see.

My rankings right now with the way Oklahoma is playing:

1. Georgia
2. Ohio State
3. Alabama
4. Michigan
5. Oregon
6. Oklahoma

I'd bet straight up that Cincinnati would not beat any of these six teams on a neutral field.

Using your 6:

UGA - man, 41 years of misery is hard to let go. D is out of this world, and O coming into its own. Just can't get over the idea that we will stumble somewhere.

tOSU - they appear to be rounding into shape, but we shall see. Getting better QB play, but their D isn't up to the normal tOSU D.

Alabama - just not the same Bama we have come to know and hate. That UTjr game was sloppy as hell.

UM - haven't played anyone with a pulse ... let's see how this going to go in the next 4 weeks. Same with MSU.

Ore - losing to a tree was bad, but good win against UCLA.

OU - can't see you guys winning out ... just too many close games, D not as improved as hoped, and you are starting a freshman QB who started making some mistakes, as freshmen do.

Cincy - agree with your take there.

I wouldn't bet against Cincinnati vs OU, Michigan or Michigan State.

Now Michigan or Michigan State could change my mind Saturday but I like them vs Oklahoma. You guys could have lost on Saturday to Kansas and it's not like you're blowing everyone out of the water. You have not played as well as you have in prior years and on a neutral site, I think you have your hands full with the Bearcats.

I've got a gut feeling OU either wins out to go 12-0 and ends up #2 or we lose two games and end up #12. Our defense is a fuckin' hologram. It looks impressive but then people line up and just go right through it. Our secondary is seriously bad due to injuries and even then it's anyone's guess who will show up to play. The O finally caught fire the second half against Kansas and scored 35 points but we only had 3 possessions in the first half. (Blame that on the horrible defense.) The team is playing poorly and that's on Lincoln Riley and Alex Grinch. Neither coach went berserk when players were obviously lackadaisical in the first half and there was zero sense of urgency to start playing better. In a word, we are playing soft.
