Dawsonville is full of gated communities and golf courses now, but I’m 30 and remember when it was nothing but the Pool Hall(the restaurant with the siren) and cow pastures.

He was one of the first people from that area to have a lot of money. He just broke a lot of agreements and screwed over those that were partners with him in his real estate deal. I think most people’s opinion of him have softened now that Chase is finding success(I will never be a Chase Elliott fan though), but a lot of locals really didn’t have many kind words to say about him

Hate to hear that.

I was a Davey Allison fan. Once he died, I kept on watching somewhat regularly but never really latched on to a driver in a die hard way. I can't watch it now. Nothing like I grew up watching in the 80s & 90s.

He started a local phenomenon. Have never seen before and probably never will again so many grown men wearing fake pearls. Hell, I wore some at the game on Saturday
 
Astros stadium was better when it had the hill and flagpole in centerfield
