Upamecano attrocious. Might be the worst defensive performance by a Bayern center in a long time.

Upamecano has had games like this at times and today it came at the worst time. Unbelievably bad. Hernandez and Davies not much better.

P.S. If Joe Scally not called up by Burhalter for next USA World Cup games, Burhalter should be fired just for that reason alone.
 
Sommer being Sommer again agaist Bayern too.

I can believe it with that effort I saw today. It was pathetic. Let's look at Bayern recently. They have the good wins against Hoffenheim and Leverkusen but loss to Frankfurt and now Gladbach. Benfica game it took them 70 minutes to score should have been behind in that game before they finally scored. Not all roses right now especially that defense. It has not been good, but lucky if you look at stats. Other teams have had chances but wasted them or Neuer saved their ass. There was an ESPN link I posted recently that mentioned percentagewise and quality of opponent opportunities more goals should have scored against Bayern and eventually things would even out as they rightfully did today. It is still risky style they play and the risk outweighed the reward badly today. Warning that defense (other than Sule) needs to be better. Still the weak point of the team.

Sule price just went way up. Sule pissed they brought in Upamecano as a right center back when he was already there. Physical forwards destroy Upamecano and he is surpisingly slow. Sule going to EPL.

I added Awoniyi of Union. He'll be playing Bayern this weekend. Schick injured too for me, so I switched to a 4-4-2 lineup and added Vincenzo Grifo to my midfield since they are playing Firth this weekend.

Good switch to Kramaric. He scored today. Union is going to be tricky tomorrow. They outwork you and if anyone not working it is Bayern right now. Goretza hurt tomorrow. Probably a good thing as he has not been that good this year and injured. The German Pulisic.
 
Bayern wasn't the only big team to take a dump in the Pokal this week. Leverkusen loses to Karlsruher. WTF. That was an underachievement. Leverkusen reverting back to underachievement form like last year after hot start. Lose, tie, lose last 3 games.
 
Good offensive start for Bayern, but boy that defense is a problem. Lucky it is not 3-2. Lucky for Union though it is not 5-2 if Sane was more on target.

Tolisso deserved a start. Sabitzer has been average. Stanicic made some errors later and gladly they got Pavard in.

It was a great game. Union Berlin hardest workin team in the Bundesliga. THey had not lost in 21 home games. Shocking stat.
 
Good to see Wolfsburg back in win column.
