Other than the twice-annual reminder of how many clocks are in my house, I don’t really care.
I only care because my team in mexico changes at a different time, so there's a few weeks a year that we're an hour off

Yeah, UK is the same way, they fell back last weekend, so we're a bit out of sync right now.I only care because my team in mexico changes at a different time, so there's a few weeks a year that we're an hour off
If you want to get technical the twilight end is like 9:48 at the peak and sunset is like 9:36 or something. Not ideal at all.
You're worried about 2 weeks in July. I'm thinking about the daylight we'd be giving up at the end of the day from like May through early September. If you want to get technical the twilight end is like 9:48 at the peak and sunset is like 9:36 or something. Not ideal at all.
That’s annoying. We have an office in PR. Right now, they’re basically EDT. Next week, they’ll be an hour earlier because PR doesn’t change their clocks.I only care because my team in mexico changes at a different time, so there's a few weeks a year that we're an hour off
Wife has them when she worked 3rds but it hasn't helped. It worked better in May-Sept when Indiana didn't go to DST. School busses had light in morning to pick kids up. The evening loss in my area was more in October than anything. That was perfect to have more sporting events under the lights for all ages. You're worried about 2 weeks in July. Put darkening curtains in your kids' rooms. It might get expensive, since you have like 10 more bedrooms to worry about than I do, but it's worth it.
I mean, if you have the lights, there's legit no reason to not turn them on midway through the game.Wife has them when she worked 3rds but it hasn't helped. It's the feeling of the game being played completely under the lights just like the high school & college teams for the youth & middle schoolers in multiple sports. Lights are usually on every night regardless at some locations so it's not a big deal on the electric bill.I mean, if you have the lights, there's legit no reason to not turn them on midway through the game.
I don't understand this portion of the comment even a little bit.
"You know what's awesome? Rec sports spending more money on electricity!"
Eh. Most of the high school games for spring/summer sports are played in the afternoon anyway. Night games weren't any cooler to me, but I guess maybe I felt a bit different because about half our little league games wound up being played at night anyway. It's the feeling of the game being played completely under the lights just like the high school & college teams for the youth & middle schoolers in multiple sports. Usually at high school stadiums to clarify for those games.
It's sorta an incentive to get kids to play harder. 8 team league for example: 7th place game 4 to 5:30, 5th place game 5:30 to 7, 3rd place 7 to 8:30 and championship 8:30 to 10 in October for football. 3rd place & championship would have lighting. 3rd place part way and all of the championship.Eh. I've coached 3 times and played once in youth under the lights. Kids and parents love it. Won 2 out of 3 as a coach. Had no business staying as close as we did in the loss the other year. As a youth player I played on 2 awful teams for 7th place and my last year got beat in the championship. That game was fun as a kid even though we lost.Played under the lights twice. The kids definitely get extra hyped for it.
Is it easier to film under the lights or in the daylight?I've coached 3 times and played once in youth under the lights. Kids and parents love it. Won 2 out of 3 as a coach. Don't know. Don't film myself. Watching tape as a player under the lights in HS were better to watch than the day games in middle school we had. One MS night game at the end of the year we never got to watch the film of those 2 years. Is it easier to film under the lights or in the daylight?

I didn't need to see this. Fucking terrible.
Well I don't think there is anything they can do to get her out...but videoing it would be far from my mind. I'd be like Ruggs and sobbing my eyes out or just completely out of itI just can't bring myself to video something like that. Someone is dying inside of there and first thought of people is record the shit.
