What would a 12 Team Playoff Look like ATM

Here's what an 8 team playoff with 6 autobids would look like:

1) Georgia vs. 8) Wake Forest

4) Oregon vs. 5) Ohio State

3) Michigan State vs. 6) Cincinnati

2) Alabama vs. 7) Oklahoma
Committee would move them around so no rematches.

You are creating a bigger safety net by giving specific conferences auto bids. Teams don’t have to schedule as tough because they have double the chance to skate into the playoffs because even if you lose your conference who cares, it’s much easier to make the playoffs.

with only two at large bids, your strength of schedule will be much more scrutinized.
The flip side of that is that teams can schedule OOC games against elite teams without risking losing a playoff spot because of the auto bid for conference champs.

I would love to watch those 1st round games. Especially played in Tuscaloosa, Norman, Ann Arbor and East Lansing.

Can you imagine the squawking and shitting if Baylor were allowed to host a first round game? It would be glorius to hear all of it.

Those would be good games IMO. Let's do it.

Whoa now, all the haves and good old boys clubs of college football might kill themselves if a non name brand team did that.

Where do I sign up for it to happen?
