Lincoln Riley to USC

They're going to be irrelevant once they have to compete in the SEC and not the B12. Easy pickings in the Pac.
It’s definitely more like the Big12 so it DOES makes some sense for both parties.

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaamn.

I'm actually excited about the future of PAC 12 football.

Oregon is laying down a solid foundation under Mario.
USC will be nationally relevant very soon based on recruiting alone.
UCLA under Chip finally showing some life.
Utah is a program that's very committed to winning and they've slowly improved over the last 10 years.
Beavs and Cougs are solid

If Washington gets it together, the PAC could be rolling.

I don't see Miami being in play. I doubt they could pay more, facilities are lightyears behind and they are a mess right now. Plus he turned them down in 2018 when Miami was in better shape and Oregon was in worse shape.

Now if LSU got involved, I could see that potentially happening.

I mean Living in Oklahoma, or LA.

It's not about whether or not Riley actually wants the beach life and LA living, but the selling point to transfer kids and recruiting.
It has been an edge that most teams in the Pac haven't had a chance against for all of our history.

@OregonDucks would be on suicide alert.

Nice move for Riley, all his 5 star players this and next class are from CA and FL.. gonna immediately get some of those guys ASAP.

Also if the rumored 10/150mil contract is true.. then ou is smart to not even consider coming close to matching it. Way too much money to be given to a coach who hasn't won a CFP game.. But i get why SC is doing this.. they need to get competitive immediately. Also my hot take is that.. Riley won't take spencer or caleb with him.. think he's going to pick Dart to run this thing.. with Nelson coming in the '23 class as well.

Agreed. OU football will survive without Riley. Sometimes you have to let guys walk.

just don't want him at LSU..
You don't want the guy that gives up the easy one at least once a year?

he'll be at LSU, and he will be getting a lot of great recruits easily.. taking from UT and aggy in the area.. and probably backdoor into a championship quicker than Lincoln will at SC (if)
