Only the Mets would have a twitter drama queen owner

Honestly, this is a VERY Mets hire….Showalter is officially the manager.
The national baseball media circle jerk over a guy who's barely above .500 as a manager has begun all because boomers love their own.
I think the game has passed by both Showalter and TLR, but TLR's resume is far superior to Showalter's. Give me TLR all day.I don't think it's a bad hire? Buck seems like a fine manager if not a particularly good one. I don't feel like he's made a lot of headscratchers outside of the Britton game (and while it was a bad gaffe, he is far from the first manager guilty of such a gaffe). He had some O's teams play well above their heads (they outperformed their pythag by a good margin in 2012 and 2016). And he was well above .500 with the O's until that 47-115 season, and I'd say that had a lot more to do with shitty front office decisions. Not his fault that Bundy never really panned out and his team was relying on significant innings from the likes of Andrew Cashner/Alex Cobb/David Hess/Yefry Ramirez, or signed Mark Trumbo and Chris Davis to ill-advised contracts.
At the very least, I think it's a much better hire than TLR.
and while the White Sox may have won despite TLR, he did guide them to their first 90+ win season since 2006. How bad of a hire was he really?I think the game has passed by both Showalter and TLR, but TLR's resume is far superior to Showalter's. Give me TLR all day.

TLR is no Ozzie Guillen. Right @craigk217and while the White Sox may have won despite TLR, he did guide them to their first 90+ win season since 2006. How bad of a hire was he really?
i think its just popular to shit on TLR
Braves legend
As much as we shit on Snit he is probably the perfect mix of Old School value but also being willing to use New School analytics. You don’t wanna be Gabe Kepler and do everything by the book using analytics but you also don’t wanna be TLR and use absolutely zero analyticsI think the game has passed by both Showalter and TLR, but TLR's resume is far superior to Showalter's. Snit made me shut up this year. Really that team had no business getting out of the NLDS, but every move he made in October turned to gold and we rode it all the way to a championship. AA gets a lot of credit too, but if he lets Freddie walk, that’s gonna be his legacyAs much as we shit on Snit he is probably the perfect mix of Old School value but also being willing to use New School analytics. @Mistaken4193 should change his sig to "Brian Snitker fucked me in the ass"Snit made me shut up this year. He did a good job this postseason. I can’t lie. He didn’t fuck around with the pen, he rode the same 4 horses every game. Bobby and Freddie Gonzalez would have fucked around and screwed it up@Mistaken4193 should change his sig to "Brian Snitker fucked me in the ass"
he's a WS winning manager now, time to show some respect
Remember when David fucking Carpenter ended our season in 2013 and Craig Kimbrel never ever warmed up late with a one run lead and the season on the line? Braves legend Juan Uribe hit a 2 run homer and that was the endHe did a good job this postseason. I can’t lie. He didn’t fuck around with the pen, he rode the same 4 horses every game.
